With this setup, you can achieve a maximum transfer rate of 2000 MB/s, ensuring that your data backups and transfers are completed swiftly and reliably.

Save Space & Remap LTO Drives on the Fly

Use cases include mapping one or many individual drives to space limited rack or blade servers, remapping attached drives from failed servers to replacement servers, adding shared capabilities to direct attached storage and remotely locating direct attached disk or tape devices.

No Server Hardware Required

The inclusion of an integrated ARM Processor and 4GB of memory streamlines the infrastructure by diminishing the reliance on costly backup servers. This built-in feature enhances the system’s efficiency and cost-effectiveness by providing substantial processing power and memory internally.

TAA Compliant (Tape Drives made in Japan)

MagStor LTO tape drives are TAA compliant because the LTO drives are made in Japan, and assembled in the USA, a country that is a designated country under the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). The TAA requires that the U.S. Government acquire only U.S.-made or designated country end products.  The drives being made in Japan means they adhere to the high-quality manufacturing & security standards required for TAA compliance. A majority of other brands manufacture their LTO drives in China, which is not an approved TAA compliant country.
