Key Features

Round the clock migration. The StackMaster will migrate from older generation LTO tapes to the latest Ultrium technology with lights out operation. User only needs to unload and reload on average once every 24-48 hours.

Unattended Cloning. Load up to 48 tapes into source tape library and initiate the migration process from the browser based remote management interface (RMI).

Offline Operation. StackMaster runs independent of your backup server and does not require a computer or application software.

Operating Modes. scan source media, scan target media, import media, export media, audit log report, and diagnostics.

Plug and Play Operation. As a "plug-n-play" solution, simply plug in, load tapes and start the the migration and cloning process from your browser. The StackMaster clones tapes on a bit-for-bit basis, meaning it can duplicate any tape (i.e. WinTel, LINUX/UNIX™, Apple®, IBM®, Oracle®, HP® minis and mainframes, and more) with 100% accuracy every time. It doesn't matter what kind of data is on the original master, the replicator’'s job is to make sure all the data is transferred accurately from each source tape to the stacked/destination tape.

Continuous Operation/Bad Tape Handling. StackMaster will automatically identify and isolate any defective source LTO tape cartridge during operation and will not require operator intervention in order to complete job.

100% Barcode Label Support. Built-in media scan and barcode scan feature ensuring you have an organized and painless workflow especially during your large projects.

Encrypted LTO Tapes. StackMaster allows the user to to perform duplication or migration of software encrypted tapes easily and seamlessly by using a bit-for-bit cloning process.

Future Proof Your Investment. StackMaster is ready for your project today and for future projects as well. Migrate or clone your source LTO tapes now and within two years you can upgrade your drive(s) and migrate again to more modern technology without making any other investment in hardware and or software.

Field Upgradeable Firmware. No need to ship your duplicator back to us to upgrade to the latest. StackMaster is upgradeable via built-in USB port. A firmware file is only an email away.

Diagnostic Operation. StackMaster comes with a built-in self diagnostic feature that checks system components and verifies all are in working order and can be run at any time.

Table Standalone Manual Systems. Don’t need automation? No problem. StorageHeaven also manufactures manual standalone tabletop systems. These units are portable enough to be shared within departments or can be easily shipped across the country for a project.
