Meet XPNTL SOLO
Create a searchable LTFS tape archive from one computer. SOLO combines tape writing, verification and restore in a perpetual license, with up to two standalone drives.
Drag in folders, review the job and start. Stage files on an SSD or qualified hard drive, then stream to LTO. Source drives can be released after staging while tape writing continues. Write LTFS, span cartridges, or make two copies with two drives.
Files receive checksums, then are read back after writing for verification. An MHL manifest stays on the cartridge. Drive and cartridge health checks run during jobs.
Search the offline catalog even when cartridges are on a shelf. Locate the tape you need and restore selected files. Browsing and restoring remain available without an active license.

Optional SOLO Pro upgrade
Add Pro to your SOLO license when your workflow needs more. The same license key is upgraded.
With two drives, migrate readable older cartridges to newer ones. Review the packing and compatibility plan first; source tapes stay read-only.
Use the command line and local API for scripting and automation.
Stop a job and continue it later. Migration resumes from the last verified file.
